Missouri Citizens for Safe Communities

Determined to Create a Safer Missouri

Our Mission:
Missouri Citizens for Safe Communities (MO-CSC) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization working in our state with the goal of making Missouri a safe place to live for all of its residents.  We believe the best way to do this is by supporting, educating and motivating individuals to advocate for reasonable community and state policies that allow children to learn, thrive and grow to become the next generation of amazing citizens. We began as an online grassroots collective action group in July 2021 that grew quickly to become a non-profit organization in 2022.  We are committed to being a force for good in the community through strong communications, lifting one another up, and seeking understanding and common ground to build toward a positive future for everyone.

Missouri Citizens for Safe Communities is a 501(c)(4) non-profit, social welfare organization. According to the Internal Revenue Code, contributions to civic leagues or other section 501(c)(4) organizations generally are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
We are grateful for any support or contributions you can make.

Let's Get Out and Vote!

→ 10/9/24: Last Day to Register (General)

→ 11/5/24: General Election Day

→ For more information, check out the Election Calendar.

The November election is fast approaching and this is a super important one with not only the Presidential race on the ballot but also several key down ballot races and ballot measures to consider.

To help make important and informed decisions about our community and our country, it's critical to have resources available and our partner organization has you covered there.

The League of Women Voters Education Fund provides Vote411.org which is an excellent resource for how to register, registration status and ballot information, important dates and contact information, and even how to become a poll worker. The site also hosts candidate surveys that tend to show up in the 2-3 weeks leading up to the election.

For college age folks and high schoolers who will be 18 by November 5th, 2024, instructions for obtaining an absentee ballot are available at

https://movote.org should you need one. You can also get assistance through your County Clerk office.

The future belongs to those who show up so please

SHOW UP TO VOTE!!

Remember, if your vote didn't matter, no one would try so hard to keep you from voting. Election day would be a holiday and gerrymandering would be illegal. Use your voice and vote, every election.

Programs

At Missouri Citizens for Safe Communities,

our top priority is to achieve results, and we know that our success depends on the quality of our campaigns and partnerships. Our approach is to build strategic networks and promote programs that will help advance our work. Learn more about the causes we’re passionate about and get in touch with us to see how you can get involved.

Education & Outreach

Our recent initiatives have focused on raising money, needed donations, and awareness for two wonderful organizations: Find the Light Foundation AND Youth In Need. MO-CSC is proud to have supported both of these organizations as part of our Pickleball Clinic and Scamble for Youth In Need AND helping support Find The Light Foundation's school supply drive event! We look forward to working with both organizations on future events and appreciate the important work they do in our community.

Thank you, Youth In Need! Thank you Find the Light!
